Ferguson Riots

I was allowed to shoot real guns and also hunted at about 13 alone.

My dad would have gotten an Adrian Peterson style beating from his dad for simply pointing his finger at someone and saying "bang".

You aim at a gun at someone because you intend to kill them. Toy or not. I understand it's a little strict but it's too teach respect for something which purpose is death.

Im not saying I didnt do stupid things, Im saying it was not condoned. When I say it wasnt condoned Im saying I got a severe ass whippin

So again I ask the question you ignored last night.

Would you rather have Wilson been beaten senseless and had his weapon taken by Brown? You want an individual that's already showed the propensity for violent and bully behavior to have a weapon?

Because that's exactly what was happening.

Like I said, I don't think the evidence points to this being the absolute conclusion. There are just too many witness accounts that say so many different things. Once again, it goes back to the point that we will never really know what happened.

Personally, I think Brown got into an altercation with Officer Wilson, in which, he tried to get his gun and punches were thrown. After the initial confrontation, I think Brown initially ran away but then tried to possibly surrender (maybe), based off the evidence I have seen, or he may have charged Wilson at this point, we don't really know. Now if Brown charged again, I understand Wilson's actions, it's the witness testimony that Brown had his hands up trying to surrender that makes this disturbing because that could have happened to.

I agree. But what you're failing to see is the cops right to defend himself. It very much appeared that this young man was trying to draw his weapon. So he got shot.

Not speaking to him specifically but after reading comments and watching interviews with people across the spectrum I get the impression some believe the cop should have sacrificed his safety and even his life over taking Browns. Even after he was assaulted in his car.

The War of Northern Aggression was brought about by Abraham Lincoln, which resulted in the horrible deaths of more than 600,000 American citizens. More deaths than all other American wars combined.

Pierce had nothing to do with Lincoln's war, anymore than Wilson did in defending himself against Brown.

Same witness testimony that was discredited?

Just checking here...

It's obvious at least one demographic has zero respect for the law.

I like to coach sports and I draw a similarity to your post. I often see marginal athletes who have parents that bash or are quick to point out the flaws of a good/great athlete who is playing in front of their child. The child hears all of this on the way home from games and practices. The child has now been instilled with no encouragement to work harder and now feels the coach is unfair.

What's worse? His post or the two people that liked it?

I guess we both lived through our dumbassery. :) Some aren't so lucky and some are just so stupid Darwinism stepped in.

Exactly.

All witnesses accounts are heard and weighed. The BS and in some cases honest mistakes are sifted out based off the evidence found. In this case the evidence and some witness accounts match up while others didn't.

This is what it is all about in the end. They want the black thugs to be able to commit any crime, including attacking a police officer, and not be shot.

Yeah, Darwin took the day off when I thought it was a good idea to Tarzan swing on vines over some very deep caverns. I have done a lot of dumb stuff thinking back.

Used to be a right of passage for boys.

It also cost states rights. Lincoln only freed the slaves after the war started to hurt the south. He didn't give a crap about the slaves.

i think you are getting evidence and witness statements confused. the evidence is clear what happened (it can't lie). Somebody already posted the link where one of the 'witnesses' didn't see the event yet still testified that they did and that they had no problem lying. as such their statement doesn't equal evidence.

Sure. But it's not just one witness. This has happened with many of the witnesses, almost all of which are African-American as well, including those that agreed with Wilson's side of the story (for the most part).
