Ferguson Riots

Provide these people a boat to go to whatever country they want, since they hate it here.

They ain't going anywhere. No place else in the world can they not work, live off the taxpayers, rob and kill almost at will, and have a good 'ole time stealing and rioting while on television screens all across America.

Listening to radio this morning a reporter said that it seemed to her that the real problem was that at some poiint it became all teenagers who were just using it as an excuse for general mayhem, running out of stores with liquor bottles, taking selfies in front of fires, and in her words "egging each other on" to do the next dumb thing. No adults in the crowd to calm them down or take control.

I don't see how the police can deal with that. That is something that community is going to have to remedy.

Boy, they're going to be sorry when they go home; I don't want to imagine the whipping their fathers will give them.

You can be upset and disagree with the findings and peacefully protest all you want. I support your right to do so.

An adult who assaulted a cop resulting in his death isn't a just cause for what we witnessed last night.

With all of the bad police actions we know of. Why in the world pick this loser to back and riot for? My thoughts are the initial bullshat report that he was shot while surrendering and the dummies doubled down in the face of evidence proving otherwise.

I was watching the same thing as you guys, but it's not as simple as you are making it out to be. All of the witnesses have conflicting stories; all of them. The only one the has been somewhat consistent is that of Officer Wilson, who had the most to lose in the situation. That's all I'm saying. We will NEVER really know what happened. Ever.

So based on the evidence that was presented to the grand jury they chose not to indict, and if I had been in the same situation I would have voted for the same thing. The grand jury made the right decision, but that doesn't mean I or the people of color around America have to like it. That's where you are getting confused: you think because I am sympathetic that I think the grand jury got it wrong; I don't.

You don't have to like it, hate it for all I care. Not liking the results of a legal proceeding doesn't give anyone the right to loot and steal!

You read and hear what you want to read and hear. I was trying to engage in some sort of civil conversation with you about the events. Apparently, that's not possible.

And you can say butthurt all you want, but your comments were insensitive. YOU didn't win a damn thing last night, but you love to act like you did. What DID happen, however, is that an 18 yr old was killed.

An 18 year old Thug was killed after he Attacked a police officer.

Excellent point.

The issue is they do not view themselves as a big part of the problem. That rings clear in this specific case as well. The idea that a police officer was attacked in his car and charge after he left his vehicle (by a suspected thief) is not being talked about. And that is not only from those on the ground but those elected officials (mostly local) as well.

Hate to say it but that has to change from within and I don't see that happening.

Nobody here gives a rip whether or not they like it, we are bothered by the fact that they have responded by disregarding all laws and civility.

Indeed. I actually thought the Kelly Thomas verdict would lead to the scenes we witnessed last night, but no. It was bad, but nowhere near last night.
If you're hitching your wagon to something, make dam sure you're right first.

Obviously all the witnesses didn't have conflicting stories. There were some that had to corroborate Wilson's testimony. And the PA even stated as much last night.

It is pretty simple. You are just saw what you wanted to see and made your own decision in the matter. Hence your post here on the matter:

Yeah guys, because normal hard-working people don't want justice for a murdered, unarmed 18 yr old.

Take the racism over to your anti-obama threads please.

You specifically used the word "murdered" because you don't believe the Grand Jury made the right call. You would rather see a white man get burned just to appease the masses who thinks this is about racism. It's not and that's simple.

An adult lost their life because they were a bully who was intoxicated with power and came across someone who didn't back down. That's the brass tacks of the matter.

Why has the black community hitched their wagon to this case? It seems like they could have easily found more fitting cases to make the point that too many black people are unfairly targeted by police. Choosing this case to be outraged about only hurts their cause, imo. They could've rallied around the guy that was shot at that gas station while reaching for his wallet (North Carolina, maybe?), and their point would have been very well received by most of the country. This one just makes everyone shake their heads and say 'Wtf are these idiots doing?"

A 12 yr old boy was killed in Ohio for having a toy gun. The same thing happened, I think, in Oakland last year. I think these cases are only going to get more and more publicity.

I'm curious: why did you choose the worst president in US history as your username?

Franklin Pierce is, as you say, considered by the liberal historians to be one of the worst presidents in history. Primarily because Pierce was a Southern sympathizer, just as Frank Roosevelt had a great respect for the Southern people and their way of life.

Pierce was a man of strong character and integrity, which stands in stark contrast to one of the most corrupt and incompetent presidents in history and who now sits in the Oval Office.

They are products of poor home training. Raising your kids to value life and property doesn't cost anything - being unsupervised is no excuse to burn down your own community. I'm not saying you said that.... I'm just ranting. Anyway, I'd wager that my kids could get together with most of the kids of the posters of the politics forum and manage to not burn down their neighborhood and loot liquor stores.

:good!:
