Hopefully he will maintain eough self control that the situation never comes up. I have seen enough statements about the women being at a party that lae being stupid and fair game. The same goes for a high level athlete with an amazing future. Don't be at a party getting drunk after midnight the question of rape or not never comes up.

If BOTH players are exonerated, NO ONE IS CELEBRATING (for the hearing impaired). Might want to quit assuming that you enlightened ANYTHING and have a Snickers!

UPDATE: 104.5 was reporting today that it was Michael Williams who is being accused of rape, and that AJ was with the girl who didn't press any charges.


hope this is true for aj's sake. it will still damage him though. and cost him his chance to run thru the T one last time. he should have known better to not be any where near that type of situation.

i just hope the DA decides something quick and i hope its for the best. all i can hope for. this situation is awful all the way around though.

Well if AJ was with the girl who didn't press charges would he not get to play on Saturday if he gets cleared before weeks end? It's not like the NCAA suspended him.

It's kinda funny how the same people saying that they have never had any negative encounters with police are the same ones claiming that "AJ should have never put himself in this situation." Definitely not living in reality. Or maybe they haven't left their house in decades (except to go to church of course). Here are a couple facts for you: 1) The KPD and UTPD prey on UT students and don't treat them with any respect. (Not smart enough to get into college, jealousy issues) 2) College guys and college girls have a few drinks and have sex sometimes.

No, getting very drunk and going home with a guy does not mean that a girl deserves to be raped. No one EVER deserves that.

I guess there could be a logical explanation to it but I can't see it either. If a girl leaves with a guy to go back to his place at 3am in the morning it's pretty much assumed that they're going to hook up.

Someone honestly give me one good reason that a girl leaves with a guy that she doesn't know well to go back to his place?

Maybe the point is they shouldn't be out full of testoterone and alcohol if it means they resort to beasts of prey. I hope you never have a female loved one end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. According to you, she would be asking for it by just being there.

I personally think it would be horrendous to have friend of my 19 year old daughter decide it would be great to go to a party and ask my daughter to go with her. I would be very upset at my daughter for her lapse in judgement, but I would be homicidal to the so called man that felt she was fair game just for being there. Being a father in these times have created many a grey hair on my not so old head.

My point has nothing to do with the guilt or innocence of either party, but the overall lack of decency in a lot of the comments here. This is a sad state of affairs when this type of situation, whether it be rape or false accusation, is in any way considered a situation that can be justified.
