Cut to Duke?

It probably also has something to do with the potential of tripling his paycheck.

Honestly, the only reason I could see him staying is if he thought/knew he would get the keys to UT after Phil leaves. If he leaves.

I just want to point out that in 2007, we had more D/ST scores than I can remember in a while. I think.

I like Cut as a QB coach as much as anybody. His playcalling was erratic. And don't act like there aren't plenty of good OC/QBCs out there. Sure, it's scary, because CPF has shown he isn't the best at hiring coordinators. He hasn't much experience with it, granted, but so far, not so good.

Did we really have that many? I can think of 2 or 3 INTs that we ran back. I'm not sure if we ran a kick back though.

Maybe we can give him one of those deals like FSU gave Jimbo. That would really cap off the season for the Negavols nicely!:dance2:

We had 4 D/ST TDs, and I think 3 in 2006.

I just looked and it showed INT TDs for Mayo, Reynolds and Berry . . . and a kick return for Wardlow. It must have been a block, but for the life of me I don't remember it.

he has 711 other posts so you might not want to judge without at least skimming those :p

Agree. I'm sure I've done worse than that one, but then again, surely you're not arguing others aren't even competitive for that award, right?:lolabove:

If Cut takes the job, I doubt he would call the bowl game. If so, who would we put in as the interim OC?

Yep, and I think he deserves at least the opportunity to take on more responsibility. It's a bowl game, not a regular season game, and who knows- he may pull a Randy Sanders type springboard.

Fulmer's coaching staff on offense looks pretty weak, without Cutcliffe on staff. Who coaches the QB's if he leaves? Rogan? Trooper?
