Been telling everyone exactly this for months. However the church of Rocky Reid refused to listen.

If we land Bussey and Love, I don't see how anyone can be even slightly disappointed to lose Reid.

So let me get this straight, the coaches recruit him and have him commit only to realize months later he doesn't fit our offense? Did we change our offense? Did he change his game? He may very well land somewhere else but I'm highly skeptical of those on here who claim to be in the know.

I prefer bigger backs, always have in the SEC. Regardless of what offense you run.

My theory is they recruited Reid because they thought elite backs would be scared off by our depth at tailback.

Once they became big players for Love and Bussey they decided they could upgrade over Reid.

Not saying Reid isn't a good player but no one can argue that Love and Bussey are the better fits.

My oh my! I thought last weekend's big win would have alleviated some of the bickering for a little while...guess not! Forgot that nothing can simmer the bickering in VN.

Didn't really want to stir up anything but I've heard reports similar to De1. Like I said in the Bussey thread, be prepared for something to happen with him soon.

Also, side note, there is a chance Paulk could be reinstated to the team.

some info came out that suggests the story wasn't as bad as it sounded if not outright twisted truth on the females behalf. If not reinstated, will transfer. Tricky situation

That's tough for Paulk even if he's vindicated. He'll always have that stigma even if he transfers. I hope he's clean and he understands the court of public opinion and why Butch had to suspend him. I assumed he had even just quit school... Is he still enrolled?

I thought they took his commitment early. I think his name is what would make it such a tough loss for me. Ha!

I think the coaches maybe looking at speed and the system fit like people have already mentioned. Reid just tweeted he ran a 4.6 in sweats pants. I would think he is a 4.5 guy tops. That is fast, but 4.3 from a kid like Love or Bussey is game changing.

Also, I just noticed Love and Bussey are all purpose backs. Both are ranked in the top 5.

I know someone who indirectly knows Quarte Sapp, and this was the very story told to me. I mentioned it back in Sapp's thread back then that I was told that there was more to the story. That is why Sapp's family was not happy because Paulk said he didn't do anything wrong. This very much aligns with the info I was given.

The way it was explained to me was that the female was the aggressor and that Paulk made contact with her in an attempt to stop her or get her under control. I was hesitant to post that in the Sapp thread because it was third hand info and people can take it differently.

Makes sense why Sapp hasn't jumped on board yet. I just hope they aren't reinstating Paulk just to get Sapp. I don't feel like Butch would do that though.
