I do recall the VQ/247 mods talking up and had most of the UT fan base ready to BOOM over the commitments of S. Johnson, M. Harrell, and others. These "in the know" guys guess and miss a lot when it comes to recruiting. Just as the fans do.

I'll stick to the opinion I have had here for quite a while now. I like what we have with Kamara and Reid for 2015. Also Bruce adds 10-15lbs and he could end up seeing carries from time to time. Same could be said for Perry now that he is added to the class and both of these guys play RB in HS. 2 solid RBs and 2 slot guys who could see carries IMO is as close to 3 RBs as IMO we need to be. IF the staff wants to take another RB, so be it I guess. No matter who is on the board, I would not trade Kamara or Reid for them straight up. JMO

Reid wants to take some visits, then I'll reconsider. Until then, he would be a Vol come NSD.

We only have 2 RBs Hurd and Scott returning. Pickett, I suppose as well, but we need 3 legitimate RBs in this class. We have 2 ATP, may lose one of them, so no wonder we see the recruitment amplified.

Think about this, the staff is obviously recruiting guys like Frazier, Love and Newsome. It's obvious that they are looking for a third RB and a slot WR. I think Kamara and Reid stick. However you're probably going to have to prepare yourself for one of the current ATHs committed to be asked to go somewhere else. Especially if we get Newsome. Guys like Perry and Bruce could be casualties unless they fit in at other positions.

As much as you don't want to admit it, fat will need to be trimmed to fit the guys in.

Perry isn't going anywhere. Call me crazy but I like Perry more than Phillips in that package.

Reid's first 4 carries tonight, all in the 1st quarter:
1. 65-yard TD
2. 63-yard TD
3. 0
4. 8-yard TD

Concord was playing a truly awful team (winless Garinger), but still...

In Concord's last game, which started last Fri. night and was then suspended (due to a storm) until Mon. night, Reid finished w/ 12 carries for 120 yards including TD runs of 17 & 33 yards.

guys Rocky Reid is UGA bound I'm telling you now so your feelings don't get hurt. The coaches didn't feel like he's a good fitfor the UT offense from what I'm hearing. They're going all in on Bussey and Love.

That sucks. A lot. Really like Rocky. Hopefully Nationdom doesn't pop in here and say anything foolish about him being a 3* and not worth our time in the first place. He'll be the next Gurley if he ends up a Dawg knowing UT's luck.
