Last year CBJ mentioned that for the first time, he (and most of his assistants) bought houses because they don't intend to go anywhere else.
I believe there is a lot of truth to that.
Plus he knows what a pain in the arse it is to rebuild a program from the ground zero.
Icing on the Cake: Even at Michigan, it is tough to out recruit a typical SEC team, let alone a storied program like Tennessee!
He's a Mormon, played for BYU and has been at Utah for 20 yrs he's not leaving on his own accord. I don't know why people think that everyone is interested in leaving a job just because X pays more or is more tradition. There's something to be said for enjoying where you live and enjoying who you work with/for.
For example, I don't think there's any amount of money that could make me move to California. I have family and friends close by, I love the weather of TN, I love the scenery, the people etc. that stuff isn't worth giving up for money.
Harbaugh, Miles would be their first tries. Likely not to get either. So i don't know what direction they go from there. Saban would go to Texas before he'd go to Michigan.. Bielema i'd say would be about where Jones is on their list. About scraping the bottom of the barrel at that point.CBJ's coaching style is almost identical to Rich Rod. UM backers/fans want a pro style, old school type offense...enter Bielema, Saban. CBJ isnt going anywhere
