@Volquest_Paul: Every time an opponent has made it in the red zone against the Vols they have scored. Opponents are 17-17 for 12 TDs & 5 FGs. That's crazy.

Yeesh that's brutal. Didn't even realize that.

Too many TDs, but I do think that it seems like this D had allowed fewer red zone opportunities than we've seen the last few years.

This stat from Blake Ritt on Twitter is astounding:

Butch Jones has faced 10 top 10 teams in his first 20 games as UT's head coach....Urban Meyer has faced 15 top 10 teams in 127 games

Is there a more overrated coach in college football than Urban Meyer?

That is unbelievable!

Seeing how well SC played against auburn doesn't make me very hopeful for this week

Hopefully their team and fanbase is a little demoralized now that they have 4 losses already, and any preseason aspirations are a distant memory.

That happened more than once for sure. One time they were lined up and then snuck out a WR on the short side of the field on their sideline 5 seconds before the ball was snapped.

First play of game they pulled that crap... Not sure how they fr away with it but could tell our players were suprised and trying to realign abut refs ignored it..... I think mike Peiorra makes interesting comments aludding to SEC official corruption and that there is a 3rd party on radio telling officials what to do.

Speaking of the refs, I found it quite shocking that more penalties were called on Bama than UT(I think).Should've been more called but I digress.....

You're right, Dooley and Chaney and Jake and Muschamp and Hoke and every other professional coach have never made bad calls or mistakes, so all their decisions are above second guessing.

Even if other professional coaches and analysts agree that this offense will never work if you don't let the qb keep it occasionally.

Making bad calls in the game and completely abandoning a part of the offense he has used in the past when he had the guys to do it are not the same. Why would he not use that part of the offense at all with Worley under center and use it often as soon as Dobbs comes in? Wouldn't it make more sense to say that Worley doesn't have the skill set to run it than we're making bad calls by not running it? Especially when Dobbs comes in and we immediately see it again.

Either he mistakenly put Worley in this offense instead of Dobbs, or he mistakenly didn't adapt the offense to Worley. Either way, I think jake could have done the first 6 games better. Not saying he should be fired, but I (and plenty of people who do football for a living) think that was a poor decision either way.

I think we got the best possible outcome.

It's rare for teams to overachieve and put together two amazing games in a row. They put it all on the line against Auburn and still lost.

Hopefully they will be pretty demoralized heading into the game Saturday.

Good point. Best outcome is for them to fight to the last minute and come up short.

We play the 13th, 11th, 10th, and 7th
Ranked defenses in conference the rest of the way.

We have played the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th so far.

Bama, Ole Miss, Florida, and UGA are all in the top 16 nationally.

South Carolina, Vandy, and UK are all 56th nationally and below.

Mizzou is 38th, 6 spots below us and we have had the much tougher schedule.

Randolph leads the SEC in tackles for a DB and there's a thread in the FF calling him out for poor play because he got burned by the best WR in college football.

I hate our fans sometimes.
