You would think he would've attempted to spin it a little more positively though based on what we've seen from Paul in the past.

Rocky Reid has been all in the whole time. He's a beast of a running back. It would be ludacris to let this kid go!:loco: I'd stated it before, I've seen this kid play as well as several other top prospects. He is no doubt the real deal!!!

I think if he had KNOWN something negative...it would've come out...in this case he's as much in the dark as the rest of us IMO.

This is JMO but we are offering a lot of RBs and working a lot of RBs lately. Hubbs has stated we are in "card trading mode" and looking to upgrade some positions and RB is certainly one of them. We are bringing in some great running backs for official visits which we have a set number of visits to use. Why invest so much time and resources in recruiting a position if we're through there? All of that said it could be we are just looking to add one more RB and the upgrade could be by upgrading the numbers instead of getting rid of anyone.

Since the Paulk incident, I've believed this staff wants that third back... They're not getting BOTH...if we can get Frasier I'd be ecstatic...Love to a lesser extent... But the way this staff recruits they offer everybody...to get one...if Reid doesn't decommit he's in this class.

Would I be correct in saying that if Reid is not a vol, it's because we turn him away as opposed to him looking elsewhere?

I don't think so...it seems pretty clear to me CBJ wants a third back in this class. Kamara, Reid, and the next one to commit. After that we are done. If Reid isn't a Vol, it's on him imo.

One thing I see is what Reid is doing BEFORE he gets in a college SC program. He has all the intangibles, but it looks like he carries bad weight too -- he's just a thick bodied guy. Just imaging when he puts on good weight and improves his speed even more so.. WOW.

Agreed. Reid has tons of potential once he gets in a college environment. A S&C program will do him wonders imo...

You must have a pretty good eye if you can look at a kid in football pads and tell he is clearly not 175 and maybe closer to 182. :)

BJ Emmons and Rocky Reid showed up in Charlotte -Monday(I believe) for their final 5 finalist of the Big 22. Heard Rocky is pretty stout and solid and already an inch or two taller than his dad. There should be quite a bit to read on the final five coming sometime soon.

I still think Rocky is one of the biggest steals of this class. It's insane that he's rated what he's rated considering the numbers he puts up every single Friday this season.

I'm guessing he will get a bump at some point. Not that it matters to me, but I'm sure he would like it. Certainly doesn't hurt our overall rating though.
