I'm sold on him now. Don't know what I was thinking earlier. Actually I do. I was star gazing. If Wisconsin and Arkansas want him, that should have told me all I needed to know.

Shoula listened to me goat... I'm disappoint..

Proud u came around bud

Tonight, he set the state record for career rushing yards. Entire state. Over 4,000 yards on the career. That's impressive, I don't care what level of competition it is. Glad he ours!

Not quite right, but he still put on a show tonight:

All-state running back Rocky Reid had the best game of his record-setting career as the Concord Spiders rolled the Cox Mill Chargers in high school football Friday 62-20.

Reid, who has committed to Tennessee, rushed for 368 yards and five touchdowns on 25 carries. He broke Cabarrus County records for rushing yards in a game and a career (6,583).

How many regular season games are left? I could definitely see him getting to sixth.

I would be pretty disappointed if we told this kid to look elsewhere. I would think others would be lower on the list of need than Rocky.

I literally was just thinking this. I know we offered him and took his commitment, but we were looking at others as well. Kamara will be great to have for most likely two years.
Rocky is perfect type of back that we need to go with the other RBs. We need this big back who can carry the load all night if he has to. His speed is good enough, vision is great. Runs hard and seems to be a great kid. I really want this kid on the team. Now if he chooses to go elsewhere on his own, so be it. I'll be bummed out but that's just how recruiting goes.

I think CBJ and CRGizzle really like his game.

Does anybody think we are trying to get Frasier or Love and possibly make it to where Rocky sees all the Backs and just drops on his own?!

No way in hell we tell this kid to look elsewhere! We lose Lane after this season. We already lost Paulk. We are in desperate need of RB's after this year! Hurd can't do it alone.

If your not from NC I understand.Westmoreland was a heck of a wrestler too.Westmoreland finished 2,1,1,2 in the state in wrestling.Hood should be good at UNC.TA was really good at State.Parks plays at UVA.Ikard was fun to watch but don't think he had the grades.

I played basketball against Kevin Parks in high school. Kid was insanely quick. I never knew he was the all time leading rusher in NC history though. He has had a pretty good career at UVA I believe.

You still want big stiff Henry? Or do you want the style of Backs UT is recruiting? Guys we're in on or have committed have much better vision and footwork.

Henry wouldn't have worked well this year with our O-line play. He runs too upright and doesn't have the best cutting ability either. He works well for Bama because they use a more power running attack that works for north/south style runners.

It will be interesting to see how everything plays out especially as Tennessee continues to recruit other running backs.

This is from Fortenberry. Those of us who speak BRAJP know what this means...he gone.
