'14 IN SG Jaquan Lyle

First to offer, but they backed way off at the end. They didn't want anything to do with his handlers.

They had, had enough. He was thought to be Indiana bound, commits to Louisville, then decommits and plays Indiana some more. Indiana would've gladly taken him, but it started getting out he was likely gonna struggle to qualify and many schools backed off. If you go back through this thread the academic concerns have been there for a long time.

Based on several of my family members with decent insight into the Indiana program...it was more than just grades. Look at his final 3 schools and tell me what they all have in common?

Kentucky
Oregon
Kansas

Kentucky was not one of his final schools, they were never seriously involved in the least bit

You guys fit into those three nicely.

He was shopped there, same thing with Kansas. The risk/reward equation was off. You're right though, his final 3 were apparently, Memphis, Oklahoma St, and Oregon.

All I can tell you is that I hear things weren't on the up and up with Lyle. Take it for what it's worth I guess.

I'll take it like I took Kentucky being one of his finalists.
