You don't have to work for minimum wage.....u should be able to find a job making 10-15 dollars an hour and be able to make it. It will pay for the necessities but people will typically live outside their means.

We have actually. Currently money is a little tight until we are able to rent our old house out. But it's a route we are open to. The wife's only fear is that we will either try to adopt every single kid we see, or that we will have our own children and a foster child could bring things into our home that we don't want our children exposed to.

-taxes=about 320
times 4 weeks=1280 a month

Rent=-600
Electric=-100
Water=-20
Food=-400
Gas=-100
Car insurance=-50

Are you sure you can raise a kid on 10 dollars an hour?

Well I wouldn't rent a place costing 600 dollars a month for starters and I can definitely spend less than 400 a month for food if it's just one person and a baby....if I was responsible and had a partner instead of a 1 night stand then it would be 800.

I know it can be done bc I did it before I went back to school. Did it suck? Yes, but my family and child meant something to me.

We were renting an apartment in the ghetto for 600 a month when we first got married in 2010.

As for your assumption that all single parents are whores, it only proves your ignorance.

^^^^^^^^^ This for dang sure. This is what I did for so many years ($15 an hr.) plus I worked all the overtime hours I could when it was available on Saturdays & Sundays. Overtime pay was really good in those days. Of course, I was a lot younger in those days when raising a family. But my family came first for me & the things I needed was last.

No not all single parents are whores but if you create a child while not married....what would that make u? I have done that also which was an irresponsible move on my part but I married the mom and took care of my responsibilities.

I have a friend that is a single mom renting an apt for 350-400 a month and if u need less rent trailers are available for 200-250 a month.

Where are you located? I was in goldsboro nc, so perhaps the military base drove up rental prices.

It would make you human. And I don't disagree that a man should take care of his responsibilities. But we all know many men don't. And they leave single women to do it alone.

Don't have sex with a man who is not your husband.....once again personal responsibility.....I could have taken the easy way out and left the girl and aborted my daughter. It was hard and sucked really bad . Instead, I did the right thing and am on my way to myrtle beach with my beautiful teenage daughter.

Premarital sex is inevitable. A very small minority of people actually wait until marriage. And a large number of these are teens and college age kids.

One of the worse things about being a foster parent is getting too attached to the child/children. I have a cousin that was a foster parent for several years. Her main problem was getting too close to a couple of the kids and the state giving them back to the parent.

No. Should be based on net income taxes paid. All should have one vote. That vote should be weighted by net income tax percentage paid.

It is actually easier to follow Keith's thought processes than 88's. DifEq was easier to understand than the liberal mind. Although, I didn't study chaos theory. Maybe that would have helped.

It's not difficult for anyone with an iq above room temperature to follow:

People have sex. Not all people can afford kids. We don't allow children to starve in this country, and that costs a lot of money. If we simply provide condoms, birth control, and abortions, we save a large sum of money.

Very liberal solutions. We need solutions to that negatively affect those that live off the safety nets that cost everyone else. We need a drastic culture shock.
