It's Butch's and Bajakian's faults cause they didn't recruit any OL before they got here on the slim chance at that time, they may come here one day. I expect Jones to produce at a high level of success next season or have a change. Yeah our roster was thin and that deserves a little consideration however I think Stoops, Freeze and Mullen could've beaten UF yesterday with our roster. Possibly Mason could've won that game too although his jury is still out. Petrino would've won that game and we could've hired him for the same money we're paying Jones, maybe less. We got some recruits and some slogans. Now we need coaching.

All I heard during the summer that he and Mack Crowder who both have been in the program for 4 years are so ready to make the OL better than last year...they were just waiting their turn. There is a reason they have been on the bench for 3 years. They are horrible...

I'm just glad that our coach and AD understands this is a process. We are actually building, not rebuilding our program.
And it takes time.

can we please stop making exscuses? For gods sake some play calling with balls and we win yesterday. The big L is on the coaches . I would hate to know I didn't have an answer for a corner blitz and a D line stunt while being paid millions

You can be satisfied with all the excuses if you want. But many of us can actually see that Butch cannot seem to coach on gameday.

I supported Dools until Kentucky. I still supported this team n wanted em to do well but, Derek Dooley was never my boy! I stood up for him because he was our coach but never was a big fan. All I know is this, if you fire this coach n expect to hire another of mid tier coaching level you got another thought comin.

PLEASE! this is Dooley's last FU. Help is one the way. Calm down, put the trailers back on the blocks, and calm the flip down. It takes more than 5 games to flush years of crap.

Instead of arguing with a wall, I'm gonna leave it at this: I'm a fan of the Unniversity of TENNESSEE I want all our sports to succeed. I do like CBJ and his staff I can see (orange glasses or not) a improvement from last year and major improvements from Dooleys years. This program was as low as it could possibly get and had a lot farther to go to rebuild than other programs. But I guess fair weather fans can't look at the big picture. So have a good Sunday and enjoy being pissed off over a loss and a record that we were predicted to have (by fans and and media) before the season started. Fans need to stop building the program up farther then where we are. Your building expectations that are unreal.


And btw I'm not mad or bashing nybody, I just think people need to be more realistic with the expectations. And for the record Vol lover yea we shoulda won the game yesterday but I think it was a mix of players coaches n refs that lost it for us. Just my opinion.

Please explain how uk is ahead of us? You are reaching at best. 1 we beat uk last year. 2. If you are going to use USC as a benchmark for them this season, we did it last year. Have they played Oklahoma? No. Ga? No. Only common opponent is fl. Both lost. Margin of victory is in our favor. Their other win is against candy...nuff said. So if they beat fl, by your logic they would be ahead of bama, ga, tamu, lsu, and USC. Doesn't make much sense to me...what is your excuse for looking at their schedule and realizing that the assumption you are making has no merit until more mutual competition is played...
