I got rid of the ps4 because I'm not huge into gaming like I was. The Xbone is more of a multimedia center that also plays games. Gaming isn't the priority anymore so the Xbone makes more sense IMO.

Yep. That makes sense. Honestly, I don't have as much time to play as I used to, either, so I can understand where you are coming from.

Kind of where I am, though I still own all 3 current systems. But instead of buying every big game coming out I have limited myself to only certain game series and a very few new games. I skipped Titanfall and Destiny for those reasons and the rest of the year I'm just planning on getting The Evil Within and the 2 new Assassin's Creed games. And those 3 will tide me over for probably 6 months.

I'm just not really big into gaming anymore. I can't imagine just sitting in my chair playing games all day. I feel like I'm wasting away my day. And I'm pretty much already tired of Destiny.

Geez who has time to play all day anymore? Between work, household "to do's," and family time I'm lucky to get an hour of gaming in on any given day. However for me, gaming will ALWAYS be a part of my life in some capacity. I just refuse to give it up because it's a hobby that I have loved since my parents bought me my handheld Mattel Football game. Giving it up would feel like I was giving a part of myself up. Personally I just watch fewer movies/TV shows. I'd rather give those up than gaming.

I got a bit excited when I fired up my ESPN app on my 360 last night and saw it was updating, because I figured it was going to update to allow us to view SEC Network games.

But then it restarted and and still no SECN access.

Same here. I've actually been playing mostly 3DS lately because it's easy to just play it while watching a movie or tv show and the wife doesn't mind since it means I'm not using the TV.

You should get a Vita. You can remote play your PS4 games even if you're not using the TV.

If you have a rooted android phone you can remote play on there, too (obv talking PS4 here). Haven't done it but read they have the app working on non Z3 devices now.

EDIT: Looks like the app is working and they think the framework is in place, but Sony hasn't released the actual remote play part yet.

I do have a Vita. I actually finished Killzone Shadow Fall using it and played some of Infamous SS using it. It's not perfect because of the weird setup for the extra shoulder buttons, but it worked.

I actually love the Wii U's ability to play games on the pad, except for ZombiU. Too bad the system just doesn't have many games I want to play nor can handle the current gen mutli-console games.

Not to derail the thread, but I got a refurbished WiiU for $200 from Nintendo (it looked brand new) last month, and I think I found the perfect companion to my PS4. I love playing Super Mario 3D World on the gamepad without disturbing my wife. Mario Kart 8 is great too. I am still debating getting a Vita. I have tons of games already I purchased for free from PS+ over the years, and seeing people play games like Destiny on it is tempting. Also the PSTV thing coming out where you can play your PS4 on a different TV (without moving it) is very tempting.

To add some XB1 content I think Quantum Break is the game that will push me towards or away from purchasing one. I loved Alan Wake, and everything I've seen of QB looks great. Plus I need a Bluray player in my bedroom now that I sold my PS3.

So I've read there's actually a story to it? Forza 5 just got kinda boring to me. My favorite racing game of all time is the NFS Underground series. I loved the free roam and being able to just go to the missions when I wanted to, and the story was actually pretty good. Anything like that?
