I'm sure you will disappear from this thread once I ask this. How exactly do stars make a player better. Please educate us all on the science behind this. Tell us exactly how an analyst who doesn't know half as much as a college coach makes a player better by putting an extra star beside his name. Are the analysts magic? Does a tenth of a second magically get shaved off a player's 40 yard dash after the player gets raised in the rankings? Do they magically gain 20 LBS on their squat max? I'm not trying to come off as a jerk. I would just like to learn how this works. It's so fascinating. All these years, I thought hard work was what made players better. You sir, have blown my mind.
Montee Ball from Wisconsin was a 3 star by most recruiting sites and he turned out pretty well. Just saying.

Why don't any of the services assign a 1 Star grade, have I missed that?
Why have a 5 tier Star system if you're only going to assign stars to 4 of the tiers?
