It sounds like many have resigned themselves to the understanding that, if Richmond chooses UT on Tuesday, the Vols will be in a serious fight and may not hold on to him until NSD because he will be a soft commit.
In other words, next Tuesday's announcement is more a public proclamation of what Richmond is feeling at that time.
With that said, we'll the sentiment really be that UT remains in serious contention for a flip on or before NSD if he announces for Ole Miss?
He'll announce to Ole Miss IMO.
And UT will continue pushing him hard.
But he'll sign to Ole Miss.
Memphis hates us.
As much as I hate the thought, that is the vibe I am getting as well. Looking at UT's roster, West TN is just about non-existent. The Jason Carr situation sure did not help any. Maybe the staff did take Boulware as they knew how this was about to play out. I know there has been talk he could possibly play some OT, but OG was more likely. Maybe the staff just took the "best available" OL wise on their board. Maybe CBJ can still get Drew in Orange.
Ole Miss really doesn't have a strong presence of fans in that city
Actually they have a very large fanbase here. Not a clear #1 between Tenn and Ole Miss. Being that so many people live in Miss and work in Memphis it could be a little deceptive, but Ole Miss is at least the 2nd biggest SEC fanbase in Memphis.
