'15 NC DT Shy Tuttle (UT commit 9/26/14)

Spike with a guy the other day who only follows local recruits around charlotte. He was asking me about Riley Ferguson. He then said, y'all are getting Shy Tuttle this year aren't ya?

I told him I hoped we were and he seemed to act like it was a done deal.

No clue on credibility, but made me feel good that someone from the area in charlotte thought he was already committed.

I still get excited thinking about him and K-Mac manning the two DT spots. We are starting to see D like it is meant to be played now. Just keep adding big, talented guys like Shy.

I think we really sent a message to defensive recruits tonight. Super impressed with how they played, especially with the fact that 77 of their yards came on that late scoring drive. Definitely faster, and appear to be better tacklers.

They looked much better but they were playing an inexperienced oline tonight. I need to see what they can do against Oklahoma or an SEC Oline.

Yes, but they dominated them. Also, take into consideration how inexperinced our DL was/is.

I agree. How do you think they will do against the SEC talent? From what you saw, do you think they can stop Bama, Georgia, or Oklahoma? Maybe they will. I'll need to see it though. That's all I'm saying>

Nobody is going to stop teams like Bama, Georgia and Auburn with their stable of RBs. However I do feel our defense will do much better than last year.

Not kidding. Like I said we looked better but need to see what they can do against a good Oline. Why can't you understand that?

What I can't understand is a UT fan that's not impressed with this whole new DL that dominated. Yes, we will face better, but this was a good test for the first game of the year. Just think what they'll be able to do now that this first game is outta the way.
