Dunno. I haven't really paid much attention to Marshall up to this point.
If true, makes things interesting, scholarship wise, with Skal which can only be good for UT.
There's been some Mississippi State talk, but I'm just going off the typical visit trend. I don't think he has visited any school besides Memphis, you usually don't see a guy just shut things down and commit to a school he hasn't visited.
Nope but it does happen. Sometimes when a guy fears his spot will get taken.
Didn't Larry Austin commit last year before visiting?

Yup absolutely, but I'm not sure Marshall would be worried about losing his spot at Mississippi State, but could see that as the case at Memphis.
Honestly I hope it's Memphis if it's not us, give us a better chance at Skal and we likely won't have to face him.
Skal's recruitment has been strange to say the least, but Memphis still has him as the #1 priority on their board. Even if they get Marshall, shouldn't affect Skal's decision.
If Memphis doesn't have a scholarship open and Skal decides to EE like it's being rumored is a possibility, it will absurelu affect Skal's decision.
The EE thing doesn't look likely for Skal. Now, his guardian is trying to set up a prep team or something weird.
Even if that's the case though, Pastner may have doubled back and reserved the one-year scholarship that he was promising to JuCo PG D'Marnier Cunningham after Pastner found out he was getting Kedren Johnson.
Well MC was telling us all Cunningham was on scholarship so talk with him, I do believe if you've already issued the scholarship it's too late to revoke it though.
There was some talk his grades needed improving, and also a year of prep school would allow him to work on his offense. A lot of things can happen in a year recruiting wise, but still not good news if you wanted to see him in a Tennessee uniform.
