He's turning into a really good QB, no argument there. He's arguably the best safety in the country. So, I'll say 6 months. Jmo
I just don't think the UT staff takes JJ as a QB with the plan to move him to defense within 6 months. With the kid being very clear about wanting to play QB in college, I doubt he will be ready to call it quits after just 6 months. IMO he would transfer if the staff tired to move him that early. UT is not looking like they are having trouble recruiting quality talent at safety. If they did not see JJ as a QB, IMO they would have passed on him altogether.
