And you just hit the nail right on the head! Westside is not a Vol fan… It is clearly obvious. I think I know who he is, and he will be back at some point with a different screen name. He has done this before in a very similar fashion.

Problem is, it was actually a relevant discussion centered around this player. A pointless discussion, but on topic nonetheless.

Guys can we please get back to discussing Rocky Reid? The name-calling back-and-forth and other nonsense was removed earlier, and for good reason. I don't see any posts about Reid that were removed. As always, if anyone feels slighted or wants to discuss, feel free to email me at vol_freak@yahoo.com. I don't mind having a discussion with you, but this thread isn't the place.

Seriously, if a relevant discussion got swept out with the mess, feel free to let me know or restart that discussion. The last thing I'm trying to so is squash discussion on Reid, but that mess was like a bad soap opera. :)

I guess it was a mix of good and bad. There was the tried and true stargazing that is a VN staple and pretty good debate material, but you certainly had some personal attacks on one well-respected poster. I see where you're coming from on this.

On to talkin bout dat Rocky. He good.

Talk star-gazing all you guys want. There's a good discussion to be had about Reid's ratings, whether or not he's accurately ranked, and how he compares to other backs in this class. I'd love to read more of that. :hi:

You gotta admit you enjoyed us giving westside the old whatfor! He was out of line, wrong in his opinion, and attacked one of us! We had to stick up for one of our own. :hi:

I'm excited to see what Reid does his senior season. He's already had a 3000 yard season. So he could have a crazy senior year. Hope he continues to show out!

I was just kidding. I have been a big supporter of Reid for a while now. I think his numbers for last year are completely ridiculous and I can't wait for him to be in Orange. Go Vols!

No worries, we always see eye to eye at the end of the day. I'm super excited about his senior season. I'm glad he is posting practice clips already, I think that will mean regular updates on Hudl from him. :good!:

If you know anything about recruiting you know that a coach doesn't take the commitment of a kid that early in the cycle if they aren't sure they want him to be a part of the program. First game this weekend against a long time rival school AL Brown (Kannapolis). Should be a good coming out party.
