Still in shock over Robin William's death. I don't think it's sunk it for me that he is no longer with us. Seen so many great movies with him in them. Did anyone on here watch Mork & Mindy a long time ago? Anyone that old? I feel ancient but age is only a number I suppose.
Catbone, hang in there sir. It will slowly start to get better with each passing day. Keep your head up and think good thoughts like its almost football time in Tennessee!:clapping:
WarMachine, Sorry to hear about your mother having a stroke. My grandfather had one several years ago during the holidays. He is still around and is doing as good as can be expected. Went to visit him on Sunday for his birthday. So I understand where you're coming from on that one. Just treasure each day with your mom. :hi:
Gotta admit, its spectacular hearing that song A Cappella at Anfield.
Urban getting a call from Butch on Abernathy...

To me, this is Still the scariest movie I've ever seen
At the risk of sounding like a complete pansy i slept with the lights on for a few nights after watching it in theaters the first time. And even now when my wife isn't home, I sleep with a little light on - like a bathroom light or something.
Havent been able to get to England for a game but I will someday. You think Drogba will be any good? Chelseas been lacking a good striker for a while now. Kinda surprised they loaned Lukaku and then sold him to Everton. I think hes a solid striker.
Don't think we can expect a ton out of Drogba this year, some good relief spells and an occasional start is the best I'm hoping for. I do think Diego Costa is gonna set the league on fire though. Lukaku was unwilling to compete for a starting spot, so we pretty much had to sell him. I agree he is solid though, but he'd rather be a big fish in a small pond apparently.

Ehh, while I agree that if I ever played soccer and was good at it I would most likely have a different opinion, I disagree that the reason I don't like it is because I wasn't coordinated enough to play it. From the little I've dabbled in soccer, I don't think more coordination is required than hitting a baseball, golf ball, or even dribbling a basketball. I could be wrong as I never played soccer at a high level like I did baseball and basketball, but I don't just honestly don't think that's the reason I don't enjoy watching soccer.
I played all three, and they all three take coordination. Soccer is a little bit different simply because it's not just about moving your feet, but controlling a ball with them. Dribbling a basketball is most comparable.
Definitely takes more coordination than golf or baseball IMO.
But soccer is definitely not a sissy sport. I've seen some crazy terrible injuries in my time, and sustained some pretty good ones as well (headbutt to the face...I wear glasses. The blood was plentiful.) Plus, the average soccer player runs 7-9 miles a game. Typically, 90 minutes of non-stop running. It's intense.
But I will tell you that I think soccer is the most ridiculously boring sport to watch unless it's a shootout. 3 sports I can't stand to watch, but enjoy playing: Soccer, baseball, and golf. Just can't deal will slow paced games. But I'm constantly amazed that soccer hasn't picked up as well in America. It's seriously an incredible sport. Just a pain to watch.
You're not lying about the cardio. Its like playing a game of hockey with no line changes.
