Still in shock over Robin William's death. I don't think it's sunk it for me that he is no longer with us. Seen so many great movies with him in them. Did anyone on here watch Mork & Mindy a long time ago? Anyone that old? I feel ancient but age is only a number I suppose.

Catbone, hang in there sir. It will slowly start to get better with each passing day. Keep your head up and think good thoughts like its almost football time in Tennessee!:clapping:

WarMachine, Sorry to hear about your mother having a stroke. My grandfather had one several years ago during the holidays. He is still around and is doing as good as can be expected. Went to visit him on Sunday for his birthday. So I understand where you're coming from on that one. Just treasure each day with your mom. :hi:

Oh, yeah - chronologically that old. Yes, I remember M&M. When that came out the whole country went into a meltdown with laughter. In my lifetime there has never been anybody even close to him for frantic, cerebral comedy. You would just sit there with your mouth open half the time and the other half be laughing your azz off. He didn't even know what was going to come out of his mouth. Then he went into more dramatic parts and was just so special at it.

Still hurting over his loss. I so wanted him to find peace inside his soul before passing. A lonely man in the middle of millions of adoring fans. RIP.

Gotta admit, its spectacular hearing that song A Cappella at Anfield.

Havent been able to get to England for a game but I will someday. You think Drogba will be any good? Chelseas been lacking a good striker for a while now. Kinda surprised they loaned Lukaku and then sold him to Everton. I think hes a solid striker.

Urban getting a call from Butch on Abernathy...

To me, this is Still the scariest movie I've ever seen

At the risk of sounding like a complete pansy i slept with the lights on for a few nights after watching it in theaters the first time. And even now when my wife isn't home, I sleep with a little light on - like a bathroom light or something.

What movie?

Don't think we can expect a ton out of Drogba this year, some good relief spells and an occasional start is the best I'm hoping for. I do think Diego Costa is gonna set the league on fire though. Lukaku was unwilling to compete for a starting spot, so we pretty much had to sell him. I agree he is solid though, but he'd rather be a big fish in a small pond apparently.

I too am a Chelsea fan Dust10. And it was because of Drogba several years ago that I got into them. I'm going to try to pay a little more attention this year.

Forgot they got Diego Costa, hes good but certainly a wildcard. Id pull him everytime he got his first yellow.

Thanks Smokey! Like I mentioned previously, final results were amazing. Still no obvious impairments from the stroke, so I'm thankful! But yeah, things like this make you treasure your time with loved ones.

And, yeah, I have fuzzy memories of Mork & Mindy. Didn't watch it a lot, but I remember it.

Ehh, while I agree that if I ever played soccer and was good at it I would most likely have a different opinion, I disagree that the reason I don't like it is because I wasn't coordinated enough to play it. From the little I've dabbled in soccer, I don't think more coordination is required than hitting a baseball, golf ball, or even dribbling a basketball. I could be wrong as I never played soccer at a high level like I did baseball and basketball, but I don't just honestly don't think that's the reason I don't enjoy watching soccer.

I played all three, and they all three take coordination. Soccer is a little bit different simply because it's not just about moving your feet, but controlling a ball with them. Dribbling a basketball is most comparable.

Definitely takes more coordination than golf or baseball IMO.

But soccer is definitely not a sissy sport. I've seen some crazy terrible injuries in my time, and sustained some pretty good ones as well (headbutt to the face...I wear glasses. The blood was plentiful.) Plus, the average soccer player runs 7-9 miles a game. Typically, 90 minutes of non-stop running. It's intense.

But I will tell you that I think soccer is the most ridiculously boring sport to watch unless it's a shootout. 3 sports I can't stand to watch, but enjoy playing: Soccer, baseball, and golf. Just can't deal will slow paced games. But I'm constantly amazed that soccer hasn't picked up as well in America. It's seriously an incredible sport. Just a pain to watch.

You're not lying about the cardio. Its like playing a game of hockey with no line changes.

Can't quite agree with the comparison. In soccer you can steal some breaks when the ball has switched play from your area of the field. In hockey you go 100% or get off. When you play hockey with no line changes, the play suffers pretty dramatically.
