I got a question.. I work in Memphis and I work in the worst area in Memphis I see and deal with killings all the time. Why does the black community only throw a fit when it's perceived as a crime against them thru white authority and why don't they have this much out rage when it's one of their own killing one another..

I really can't understand for the life of me on this..
One more thing in this time and age we live in, it shouldn't be like this.. And sorry for all the families involved the officer and the young mans. Sad world we live in these days..

No, too attenuated. If you could sue the city for people's reactions to police activity you bankrupt them in short order.

I have no idea. They are a little hush hush over there. They usually are until the official details come out. All I know is what little bit they have posted. One of two of them went on some serious rants about it though.

I said last night here and repeat: the friend walking with him is the one who has given statements about this young man running after the cop got out and just started shooting at them for no reason. He claims his friend stopped and gave up and was shot.

Not a word about a struggle over the gun or an incident in the car.

If forensics shows the kid's DNA on or near the gun, or in the car, the witness' credibility is completely and irretrievably trashed.

And I got the feeling the witnesses are not telling the complete truth..

They assaulted the officer LG. That was released last night. They screwed up. The gun went off in the car during a struggle. I'm sure this will be verifiable to the damage in the car.

Btw have you ever had a gun go off in close proximity to your ear?
