I would rather have a team of champions in life. (Who also win games. :))

Tilting toward dallasbowlin on this one. I'm tired of people who grind others under their wheels while pursuing what they consider to be victory. Makes for a sucky world to live in.

give an example of a team u didnt like?

Lmao so Richardson's getting pulled first time he poses after a dunk, or Mostella when he throws it down over somebody, or nails a 3?

Ok.

good gracious man have you ever been in a situation where you are teaching or coaching kids, or is your hoops experience relegated to internet only bull****

You already forget we aren't allowed to question those who are paid professional, ala strength and conditioning coaches?!

you can question whomever you want for whatever you want. Just don't get upset about responses.
You didn't get his point to kids which is to basically be humble and respectful. Would you rather he tell them to hot dog and pose to the crowd? Like they see on NBA every night? Or maybe he should've just told them all to act like the punk from Ole Miss.
Or maybe watch it again with an unbiased eye instead of trying to find something to jump on for unnecessary theatrics because some 6 yr olds took more from that than you did.

I wasn't speaking specifically about teams. I'm talking more generally about life in general; those who regard everything as a zero-sum game where in order to win, someone else has to lose, and they win any way they can. :hi:

Obviously as a fan, I like my teams to win, but not at all costs. There's too much of that crap everywhere else.

Of course, I've been a Cubs fan since the early 80's, so that probably factors in somewhere.

Please continue to tell us all how college athletics isn't about wins and losses...

Ok I will the 2012 Kentucky wildcats ok they won the national title right? Well a couple of those players have a criminal record now Terrence jones was arrested for a drunken assault and you are ok with that? The 2013 national champions the Louisville cardinals chane Buchanan (I think that's how it's spelled) kicked off the team not once but twice for marijuanna,ok states Marcus smart pushes a Texas tech fan in the 2nd and you are ok with that? All those teams were successful on the court but that's not important because they had no character off the court

I'm absolutely ok with it, and would trade any of our seasons for Kentucky's championship season with Davis and Jones.

I will keep that in mind though, because we have a couple guys on our current roster who will play a big role that have a criminal record. Or since they're Vols now you look the other way?

@dallasbowlin

A team or university can only influence a player's decision and life choices so much. Theres bad guys and good guys on EVERY team.

im only interested in what they do on the court....if they do something stupid then that is up to the police and the university to handle.....u do realize that the tennessee team that u would rather cheer for last yr instead of kentucky had a player kicked off for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl and every team in the country has guys that smoke pot.

It's called a chance if they mess up kick there a$$ off if they prove that was a mistake and they have grown they deserve a spot

But yet if Terrence Jones messes up after he's left Kentucky he's a D-bag and didn't deserve to play for UK?

That makes a whole lot of sense, not!

I applaud your mother Theresa act, but it has no place in CBB, that's just the simple truth. You name me any coach that's been successful and I'll provide examples of guys who got in trouble under his watch....

I'm not saying jones is a d-bag which shows how immature you are when you use that word but anyway but it's the constant kids from ky getting arrested is what I'm point at(Goodwin,cousins,lamb,jones,porter...etc)
