Who will be our main PG in 2014

I think if Mostella has any aspirations of playing at the next level he will put in the time to develop at the PG position. 6'3" is on the short end for today's NBA 2 guard.

Louis Williams is shorter.

Mostella and Punter could probably run it, they're about the right heights for it. Probably Mostella more, being 6'3 170 lb.

Forgetting Baulkman.
Tyndall said he plays all 3 positions and when asked Baulkman said he prefers 2 but can play PG.

That's the comment that made me think he might have been asked to play at least some point. Lived in Somerset for about a year some 25 years ago. Place called Woodson Bend I think it was.

I'll be happy when we find out all these players are totally qualified. When that happens it will be somewhat easier to sort out their best position.

Okay. And KD is 6'10". There are always exceptions but in general SG in the NBA are in the 6'5" range. Not saying Mostella can't make it as a SG but in general his odds are better learning to play PG than be an undersized SG.

Chiles probably will start out at the point but with some work I could see Mostella getting a lot of minutes there as well.

I get the point:salute:

Got the info from this guy reason I called him a point.

Junior college point guard Jaysean Paige has been released from his letter of intent at Southern Miss.
I get that, was just quick to clarify because the title was gonna have people thinking we had a legitimate PG option come available.

Like the first page of the Edmond thread you titled it causing people to freak out thinking he was 2014 and what're we gonna do lol.

Probably Chiles, and backed up by a player yet to be named. I am starting to think that by the time the smoke clears, there may be only three or four returners from last years team.

I would like to see Mostella developed at the point. I think him and Chiles with split minutes.

If I have read it right .CDT offense doesn't need a true point guard in the sense that the ball will be passed back in forth to different players through screens and pick-in rolls .Giving each player the green light to take to the house if the lane opens up for them. In this way any of the guards could bring the ball up and set the offense . I think we now have 2 to 3 guys maybe 4 who could run the point ,with with at least 2 on the court at the same time. JMO

The available point guards seem to be out west. Missouri already has three PGs that their new coach has signed. They want shooting guards. Can we work out a trade?

People with low reading comprehension like yourself probably need it all explained.
