Or maybe it's that they don't think he's a good coach, don't like his personality, think he smells funny.
Point is, you don't know why they left so why bash them for making the best decision for them.

Ignorance. Martin left this team with a 47th ranked recruiting class and 15 pts returning. 20 wins my ass.
But people can blame it on Tyndall for running them off and it's ok?
And I do have an idea. 2 players leaving didn't make it through DT's indy workouts last week without having to stop multiple times. They were told it was not acceptable. Next thing you know, they quit.
If people can throw out whatever opinion they want, I can as well.
Tyndall has come in with a my way or the highway approach and no middle ground. Like it or not high school players this day in age want their asses kissed a bit and to be made feel like they're "special". If he's not willing to do it you can bet there's a line of coaches reaching out to his parents puckering up as we talk.
These aren't high school kids. So what's your reason then? The coach comes in and laws down how HIS program is going to be run without considering the kids feelings? How dare he do that! They starting to sound like a bunch of ***** babies and your excuse making for them makes you look like one too.
Don't let us stand in the way of you getting ahead of yourself. This is how the Bobby Knight era ended in Bloomington, but I'm sure Tyndall is a better coach.
(Not saying that you post is an actual representation of what happened, but the scenario you have laid out is exactly what happened in Bloomington at the end of the Knight era, turns out you need basketball players in order to play basketball)
I mentioned that I was getting ahead of myself. I was just replying to the post. However, the "My way or the high way" days of coaching have come and gone. I doubt Tyndall being mean is the reason these guys left.

So you think coaches like Pitino and Izzo have players on their teams that are doing it their own way.I mentioned that I was getting ahead of myself. I was just replying to the post. Get real.
Recruits size up coaching staffs before they commit.
They choose what they're comfortable with.
Ainge said on his show it's more of guys who show loyalties toward the previous coach that he would rather start out with guys that buy into him....not that he would be a hard a&& with new recruits.

Randy Moore on Basilio's show said Tyndall's philosophy with the players and signees has been "Get your heart in Dixie, or get your ass out".
I might look like one but clearly you are one
See I can do it too
With Zo's recruits and Zo' a signees.....if he plays it too hardcore like Dooley did then he will bury himself and we will move on in the quest to find the right coach....I really don't think he will be that way on the recruiting trail.
I look like a baby cause I'm NOT whining over a coach wanting order, discipline, complete buying-in, expectations etc for HIS program? Makes sense.
These kids have been through the recruiting process, they've had their asses kissed, now it's time to go to work and play. That's the problem, they've had their asses kissed for so long they expect it; that's all college athletes not just ours specifically.
Saban may take some liberties in his punishments of star players but one thing he doesn't do is coddle them. If you don't buy-in you're picking splinters or bouncing to 1-AA. That's the difference in Saban and Richt. Look at the trophy cases. The day your kids run your program is the day your program crumbles.
