Interesting. I wonder if he takes this approach simply because of the regime change, or if he takes it with his recruits as well...

It would explain why his classes at all his other stops are filled with JUCOs, community college players and prep kids.

Those are typically "tougher" kids who don't need you to kiss their ass, they're simply thankful for the opportunity. Unfortunately I'm not sure you can win in the SEC with those same types of players.

Has anyone other than Tony B stated Hubbs is going to request a release ? Until a better source confirms it, it may be bs. Tony is not the best source, remember Lovie is still flying around on his way to TN.

Ainge said on his show it's more of guys who show loyalties toward the previous coach that he would rather start out with guys that buy into him....not that he would be a hard a&& with new recruits.

Sounds like CDT's just getting rid of all of the tampax-pearl-using softies Cuonzo recruited with the whole nice-guy-let's-read-bible-verses-together-instead-of-preparing-for-A&M approach.

That has yet to be seen. However, if players only want to play for a black coach, dont want to work like DT works, or get butthurt because their asses aren't kissed as much, which led to 2.5 years of crappy ball, then see ya.

Sounds like Martin recruited some mentally soft quitters. Not only did none of the players leaving improve last year, but they are so blind they don't even see they regressed on the court.

Or maybe it's that they don't think he's a good coach, don't like his personality, think he smells funny.

Point is, you don't know why they left so why bash them for making the best decision for them.
