TOS posters saying defection rumors legit

1 small snag might be that it's not nearly as easy to get into UT as it is USM and MSU. A lot of those JUCOs he got didn't have the grades and so they flew under the radar, he doesn't have that luxury anymore.

Good point, but at least CDT has experience going this route and can work with the transfers to help them get in. This is possibly the case with possible late summer player.

If it wasn't for that surgery he wouldn't be sitting out 2 years if he were to transfer basically.

If he had played a full year last year, and just had to sit out 1 year I think this decision would be easier for him.

Ok. I follow your thinking now

Huh?

I was thinking that if he isn't fully healed, he may not look at sitting out another season as such a big deal.

and what you don't see that I see is that his turnover were lazy passes 40 feet away from the basket and not from being careless with the ball making a play or pass to his teammates in scoring position. He wasn't allowed to because Martin wanted him to give it to the wing and go stand in a corner to shoot his 19% 3 pt shot when they doubled Stokes late and he had to kick it out with the shot clock down.

DT can play and was underutilized for the skills he brings, along with the athletes we had, including Stokes. Him walking it up and getting a 10 second call as his coach is pulling his reigns sums it up. Martin took away all of DT's creativity and ability to see over the defense and made him stand in a corner on offense.
DT's the one that should be pissed at Martin for taking a skill set of ballhandling, height, vision, awareness, anticipation and ability to finish at the rim off one foot and not use any of it because of your scheme.
It's ridiculous.

I would rather have the ball in MacRae, Richardson, Stokes, or Maymon's hands. Thompson's job was to get them the ball. He was a freshman point guard on a veteran team. I'm not sure why this concept is strange to you. Also, starting the offense using from wings popping out is fairly standard. I know you enjoy the point guard dominated offense, but not every team runs a system where that is necessary.

I'm not suggesting Antonio was unhappy with AJ's role but do you expect him to express that publicly? Maybe he has more class than some parents but wasn't happy behind the scenes, as in at home. But we'll likely never be privy to that nor should we.

"I came to UT to play for Coach Martin" seems like a fairly decent endorsement from A.J.

No doubt, and likely what's going on with Ellis, just pointing out that the pond might be a bit smaller than he's used to.

No. If he was healthy last year sitting out 1 year, playing for Kentucky and going to the NBA might not be an issue. However, missing all of last year basically, all of next year, and it's gonna take a hell of a year to go pro by year 3.

You initally said his dad, now you're saying AJ himself. You and BTO sit around conspiring how to change your arguments and hope folks are too dumb to call you on them? I don't believe Antonio was unhappy with his son's role, but using AJ's tweet as justification for his dad's feelings makes absolutely zero sense.

Drew should go back over to the Cal board with his buddies and continue taking shots at UT fans like he's been doing since they hired his man-crush.

Bump 3 for Sparty

Yeah, you went out on a limb there. Somebody posts 2 are leaving and a 3rd is unsure. So you post that if one leaves that others may follow and it's "breaking" news from your "sources".

Stick with recruiting where you bring good info. The rest of what you bring is bs, and your new act of not acting like a psychotic beatch lasted a week.

Robert Hubbs to seek release per Basilio:

Update. Sources in college hoops community say that Robert Hubbs is expected to seek his release from the Tennessee Basketball program later this week. No word as to where he's looking but one person involved in the game as an assistant told me 'Hubbs will have no problem finding a suitor for his services.' Hubbs will is expected to join both Darius Thompson and AJ Davis as defectors from Tennessee. We will discuss this on the Tony Basilio Show today.

If hubbs is asking out too, this more than just things "not being a good fit" or "work ethic.". What the hell is going on over there?

And what was that answer? Sorry, didn't see it posted.

Tyndall has come in with a my way or the highway approach and no middle ground. Like it or not high school players this day in age want their asses kissed a bit and to be made feel like they're "special". If he's not willing to do it you can bet there's a line of coaches reaching out to his parents puckering up as we talk.
