Rumor was introduced to the board by pdogg in the Punter thread. BTO just clarifying where it came from.

If true ... I find it troubling that a people on a Vandy forum knows more of what's going on behinds the scenes at UT than here at Volnation.

I brought it here after hearing from people close to Darius then confirming with basketball staff. I waited before posting it. I didn't know it was posted on a Vandy site till last night. That included Hubbs and I have said, from what I've heard is Hubbs and Tyndall are cool. Darius and Donnie do not have a great relationship. Donnie is trying but again, Darius likes the Cuonzo Martin type of coach which his dad is the same low key way. Donnie will yell and get in your face with choice words if he doesn't like something.

good gracious, if a 2 pt, 2 apg player who was benched multiple times as his confidence went away and he shot 18% from 3 is truly afraid of stepping up his game and being yelled at, run and motivated, then go please. That softness is a big reason why we were hard to watch for 2.5 years until desperation time for Martin and his players.

Yeah for real. They sound like some lady vols. Are we going to be wearing some blue in our jerseys next year? If you can't handle a coach yelling at you then GTFO....I like his passing ability and I think he has a great shot, just lacks the confidence but he might be a tad slow to keep up with CDT's style of play. At this point idc who stays or goes now I just want kids that want to be here and bleed orange.

I read the other board and there was nothing in the post that said that the rumors were legit. Take some time to post an accurate title before putting it up there.

All the post on VQ said was that there is a rumor from a Vandy board.

If true in the least, I'd be surprised his dad would support it being that this offense is tailored for his son to use his entire skill set. Same offense he ran in hs that led to his solid sr year.

Anyone ever think that Vandy fans may have started that post for this specific reason (so we trash our own players and possibly cause them to leave). We have got to be smarter than this.

While I'm hesitant to give an opposing fan base credit for being that smart (and the whole idea is ridiculous to begin with), I'm smart enough to know that the hags here on VN would take the bait 9/10.

Nobody had mentioned it coming from Vandy when it started last night and bto mentioned the possibility of only returning 3 players. Do you want us hags to not discuss the possibilities and reasons he should stay?

If we are to now only discuss reality on here, go ahead and shut the site down because half the discussion here is about nothing of substance. Hell, some of you never wanted to discuss the reality of Martin's coaching, so make up your mind what we can or can't discuss.

Maybe it has something to do with feeling wanted. I have no opinion on DT but he certainly seems to be apathetic to keeping any of our current player's or recruits. I am content to let him make his bed.
