I'd rather have a Peyton Manning/Tom Brady type of QB all day. Smart, can make all the throws and read defenses, model citizen.

I'm not talking about THIS kid. I'm talking about the kids this kid was being compared to. So your reading comprehension is what sucks.

Character-wise, we have NOTHING to indicate that Gibson would get in any off-the-field trouble like Newton, Manziel or Winston. On the field, however, Gibson compares favorably to those three players when they were high school prospects...

its not like those guys are a dime a dozen.

the drop back passer will never be eliminated from the game but in the current cycle we are in with offenses they are becoming less popular.
These new read offenses are putting higher emphasis on a QB that can tuck it and go.
Not saying I like it just saying that is whats happening.

I'm going to go ahead and say it: nobody would be throwing around terms like "thug" and questioning Gibson's intelligence or obedience to the law if he were a white kid. He comes across as a very humble and thoughtful guy in his interviews, so inferring anything else from the fact that he has fun with fans on Twitter is coming more from stereotypes rooted in racial prejudice than from anything based on reality. JMO.
