As for people that continue to question the hire, or continue to question why another "Unknown"? You all fail to understand that Bruce Pearl was in Tyndall's shoes before he arrived at UT, and made himself known among the college basketball ranks. Tyndall lead a Morehead State to a Sweet 16 appearance, including an upset victory over a much more talented Louisville team. He has the tools and abilities to succeed at Tennessee. Our facilities and tradition will sell itself, and Tyndall has the personality and showmanship to recruit at a high level here.
I wouldn't be surprised to see us back in the tournament next year, as Tyndall will have more overall talent to work with than he's ever had before as a head coach. I'm anxious to see how the team translates to his style of play, hopefully they will flourish.
