Tiny fell out of the top 2 rounds in Kiper's new mock. Now he has James going to Seattle with the last pick in the second. Only Vol in his top 2 rounds with probably 6-7 other OTs ahead of both.

Predicted Mettenberger to Titans in the second for anyone who cares.

Not a fan of mettenberger. Not in the 2nd anyways.

I literally argued people to the bone about this, and I'll probably end up being right. Tiny will be a 5th round pick.

The experts are idiots. Theres a reason why they aren't investors. Do you honestly think you'd lose wins? I bet we win atleast five, so I don't see how you wouldn't buy UT stock by the boatload. All we have is upside. 1 us dollar is one us dollar like one win is one win. On this one, We'd take advantage of people's hesistancy to sell too low. There is very little risk in the UT investment because the price is at the historical low. We can't get worse.

This would be comparable to Chrysler selling for 2.50 a share in the early 80's. The only difference is we have no chance of going under.

Remember sportstrade? They use to sell college teams, and players from major sports as stock. You always take unproven and hope it hits gold base off of your method.

Ok
No offense, but this stock comparison discussion is as bad as soccer...

:)

There are too many people around Tennessee that give bad advice. Scotty Hopson, Stokes, Tiny, Sentimore. Tiny should have stayed.

We'll see about Tiny. I still think he goes in the 3rd, but it depends on his health. If he has a chronic knee issue, then he may as well go and try to make as much cash as possible.

As far as Stokes goes, he's not going to improve his draft stock unless he grows 4 inches. He might as well go pro. I think he knew Martin was gone, too.

I'm kind of annoyed at why Jackson Harris doesn't have an offer. What does he not have? Has offers from plenty of schools but not us.

Seems strange to me. I guess if the staff thinks Middleton will still pan out in 2016, then we get Angel as well, passing on a TE this year is alright. IF they plan on taking one in 2015, Harris looks like a great option to me. A lot of folks seem to think he is uga bound now. Hope it does not come back to bite us.

I agree. The only time you should come out early is if you are a bonifide top 10 pick. It's not worth it otherwise. A bachelors degree in the right area is worth about 3 million. Somebody like Dobbs, its worth even more.

Kids these days don't get that.

Sentimore may have been personal/unwanted issues too. He was a loafer on a team that had a lot of chemistry issues because of some players not playing hard. Probably wasn't popular with the team; I remember Mo Couch laughing at him on twitter when he didn't get signed as a free agent.

Tiny could have had a year to alleviate concerns about his knee and Bray is one that I think should have stayed, although I think it may have been more the coaching change for him.

Bray would have been suspended right when the season started. I'm glad we didn't have to deal with that. I wish Tiny would have stayed, I'd be feeling a lot better about our OL right now.

Getting to your second professional sports contract is where the money is. You get there faster if you leave early.

I think you need to be a first round NBA player or a second round or better NFL player. First rounders in the NBA have guaranteed contracts. After the second round in the NFL the money drops off.
