1. Ben Howland - Most realistic home run
2. Chris Mack - Would be a steal
3. Tim Miles - doing nice things at Nebraska
4. Archie Miller - risk, but possible high upside
5. Keith Dambrot - Off the radar, but solid resume

Whatever...Counzo underachieved for 3 years with some of the best talent weve had at UT in a long time...the same ESPN that publishes "Vols Fans get what they deserved" also published just a few short months ago that UT was the most disappointing team in the NCAA at halfway through the season....and suddenly its the fans that are the bad guys, the fans ran him off, the fans have unreasonable expectations.....BS. A majority of us didn't sign the stupid petition, supported this team with the idea of wait until the season is over, didn't want BP back, and ate plenty of crow on others behalf when the team started winning games...

This, all day, everyday, and twice on Sundays!!

I don't see Mack leaving. He's a Xavier guy

Short list
1. Lawrence Frank
2. Archie Miller
3. Ben Howland
4. Mark Few(i believe he has hit a plateau at GONZ)

long shots but good coaches
5. Fred Howberg
6. Mike D'antoni (is gone in LA and wont get another NBA job, his style would be great in college and would get recruits IMO)

7. if none of these guys say yes i would finaly call Pitino jr.

i really don't believe in Marshall(i think its his personalty i just dont like. reminds me too much of Tom Creen ) at UT and wouldn't want him

Isnt iowa st his alma mater???

Curious to see who our next bargain basement hire will be. Will be full of drama until the actual announcement. He'll be heralded as a VFL and yada yada yada.

About what? retirement planning? LOL

I like the guy a lot but he has been at Belmont 27 years. He would be a short term solution at best.

He's younger than Mike Krzyzewski, Phil Jackson, and Larry Brown all by at least seven years. So you're saying you would turn them down too. He's only 60!

Thinking UT may be the leading the nation for BB/FB turnover in the last 5-6 years.
