Recruiting Forum: Football Talk XI

I'm actually thinking that Gaulden is more likely to be the player that's hard to keep off the field. I think it's pretty well documented how good TK Jr. is and he's definitely very, very good. I think Gaulden, however, would have been a 5 star if he would have played 4 years of high school.

I posted earlier I expect Gaulden to play early at CB. He and Evan Berry are two players I'm excited to see.

My reaction after watching his tape:

Wrestlemania-30.jpg

Is that the reaction to Undertaker losing his streak the squeaky screaming Brock Lesnar lol

Good lord I hate Kentucky.

I hope Cal leaves and then burns the place to the ground on the way out.

I hate KY too but I hate UConn even more (mainly because of the women). UConn, especially the women, are favorites for ESPN and they won't let the NCAA do anything to UConn because they are a part of the cheating. A good example is the "tours" of the ESPN headquarters by UConn recruits with former UConn players leading the tours.

Wait, that happened?

I haven't watched WWE in years.
Taker was 21-0 at Wrestlemania. He's retiring soon. Faced a part timer in Brock Lesnar and lost. Probably the most shocking moment I've ever seen or heard about in wwe history. The crowd was confused as you can see in that photo lol. The bets were 10-20/1 payout on Brock bets. Some people probably became rich.

Yeah I really didn't think they would do that. Really shocked me as well. Knew old Daniel Bryan would be the new champ, The fans would have boycotted most likely lol.
Haha I know. Bryan is solid in the ring but nothing I'd riot over. That Taker moment was kind of sad. I didn't cry or anything but Taker is like the WWE superstar. It's even sadder because it was his decision to lose. Sorry WWE is fake for those that didn't know

I know the whole back story to the streak; that's why I'm so surprised.

That's pretty sad.

What I am excited for at LB is we will see a lot more guys play in multiple packages. AJ coming out on 3rd and long. Putting Elliott and JRM on both sides in say 3rd and 4 to cover run and pass. There is a lot of good stuff we can get into by having more capable LB bodies.

Wait a sec. People actually bet on WWE matches? They put money on something that every halfway intelligent person over the age of 8 knows is fake? Holy Hell!

I'm in the market for a new gas grill....under $500. Any suggestions?
Right now I'm leaning towards the new Char Broil infrared grill.

Don't know a whole lot about the differences in grills. But my Dad has an infrared and says the even heating is fantastic. I have a Char Broil but not infrared, and I have really enjoyed it.

Soooooo glad UK got beat. Don't know who is worse, Bama football fans or KY basketball fans. At least I don't have to listen to the puddy tat fans talking about another championship for another year!

Bates and JRM early on would be ideal.

Some rumors flyin around Taker chose to lose and had friends bet heavy on him... Would be genius

How could he choose to lose? Did he and Brock Lesnar screw over the writers and decide to change the outcome during the match?

Furthermore, how the hell do you bet on something that is predetermined?

That's like betting if a character dies on a TV show. There are likely several dozen people who already know the outcome who could get rich off that.

Wrestling is considered "entertainment" by Vegas betting houses. "Entertainment" bets are capped at $100. So maybe he just had a couple of million friends...

Seriously though, I'm not a huge wrestling fan but you've got to admit that the Undertakers streak of Wrestlemania wins is pretty huge. To stay healthy and relevant for over 20 years in wrestling is a pretty big accomplishment, considering how dangerous and volatile the "sport" is.

I think this kind of streak is on par with Brett Favre's consecutive starts streak, just a couple of notches below the Cal Ripken streak.
