Only thing I'm not pumped about is the DL. Seems like most of our worries were justified.
Remember that Saulsberry is out. Obviously, you need more than him, but he has experience, and he is our big guy in the middle.
I am not too worried about the DE's (too much speed, especially with freshmen). The DT's are the concern.
I agree. Saulsberry and O'Brien should be quality starters. It is the 3 or 4 others in the rotation that need to step up in August.
O'Brien is running backup to Owen Williams right now I believe. Mixon and O. Williams are starting DTs now with Saulsberry out.
We'll need a couple incoming DTs to be ready for serious playing time.

Free @krispykreme doughnuts tomorrow at the Inaugural Student Appreciation Day in Neyland Stadium, also use #VolSelfie during practice!
Not to be the bearer of bad news, but my friend is also attending the coaching clinic (and crashing on my futon) this weekend. What he told me directly opposed everything in that post. I know I don't have much credit around here, but I will let you guys know what I he told me anyway and you can take it or leave it.
The OL, DL, and DBs are bad, like really bad. The kicking situation isn't very good either. He got to go into Elder's office last night and said he seemed optimistic about the TE's, but special teams will be a problem. I am usually a glass half-full kind of guy, but from the sound of it, the coaches aren't banking on setting the world on fire this year.
One bit of good news is that the consensus is Hurd is as advertised and will likely start from the first game on.
If anyone has any questions, I can run them by him and see what he says. Also, we are both going to the scrimmage tomorrow (me as a student, him as a coach). So that will be fun.
