So is it possible that Martin just screwed himself? If the reports were true that UT might essentially be ready to move on (which I grant you may not be true), and Martin is calling their bluff, what if Hart says "Ok, well bye" and the talk about Marshall was legit?

NBA will draft off potential, they always have. His stock was almost the exact same last year. We can all agree that he was exponentially better this year than last, right? So what is staying another year gonna do?

There are a few reasons why Stokes should stay:
1. He was exponentially better this year than last year, so he is improving as a player. If he had remained stagnant, then yea, he should go.
2. This is considered one of the deepest draft in the 20 years. Several players that would normally declare are going to wait it out another year.
3. He is a jump shot away from being a solid first round draft pick.
4. He is a young senior, so his age won't be held against him the the draft next season.

Something still feels odd here. Not sure this whole thing is over just yet.

Your clairvoyance is uncanny. Everyone thought this draft class would be the best ever and now it looks rather pedestrian after manny of the studs weren't exactly as good as expected.
