Really? Think about what you posted. Most, if not all players get better as they mature. Is it C Martin or is it the fact that they have been playing ball that much longer.

He backs into the tournament and gets perhaps the best draw in the history of UT tournament basketball and everyone goes from pitchforks and bonfires to giving him an extension and a raise.

I am glad to see this team win but we don't need another moronic decision by an AD with an "8 is enough" Fulmer type contract.

If he actually cares about his players and the program, he can stick it out for another season under his perfectly good contract and prove he is all in for getting UT basketball back into the national discussion.

If he wants to bolt, so be it. Plenty of other marginal mid major coaches out there that would jump at a pay raise.

Is it possible that CCM turns down an extension? Could he possibly look to coach elsewhere?

I'm sure some teams wouldn't mind having him and he did catch a lot of heat from us as a fanbase this year.

Yea, Martin has definitely earned an extension and a raise, way to go Zo.

He also just got a $75k bonus, on top of the $50k bonus for just making the NCAAT. Say he's a pretty damn happy man tonight.

Hey, I have had my doubts about Cuonzo but I didn't sign the petition......we gotta show this coach some love! Way to go basketVols!

He should stay, unless he starts flopping.

My biggest concern is that he will bolt.

He got an extension after his 2nd year at Missouri St. Look what happened after his 3rd.

The idiocy of this fan base to entertain bringing in another coach is amazing. Some of you are looking like laughing stocks on national television by your own doing. The perception of you morons is well deserved. The word is out on how Zo is treated and if you think a home run coach is coming in here if Zo were to leave you're dumber than they already think you are. The under appreciation of Zo has been the story line and it's fascinating some of you can't see it.
