UT's team is built for the tourney. Most tourney games are grind it out affairs and almost every game is like this for UT. If we keep playing solid D, we'll be in every game.

I was never one to think CCM deserved to be fired in year 3 regardless of whether or not we made the tourney, but if this game is any indication of our talent level we definitely underperformed for the great majority of the season and imo that's not worthy of an extension.

tennessee's problem will be when they play a team that stokes and maymon can't just toss around like rag dolls.

but, as i have said during the course of the season.....you can seriously count on one hand the people that can produce in the post like stokes.

and there are only a few teams that have inside players with some muscle that can match up against that and not be totally outclassed.

This game is an indication of our coaching and what happens when stubborn players finally choose to buy into the system.

He has to get an extension. No way around it. His contract is up in 2016 and would basically be a lame duck coach. He will get a raise and extension.
