I thought we did this last year to? We wore blue socks, arm bands, sleeves etc if im not mistaken.

Pat Summit is JUST as great of a Tennessee Legacy as The General...or The Minister of Defense...or the late, GREAT Doug Atkins.

I’m really looking forward to seeing these. I’m pretty sure we once had light blue trim on the home numerals on a once or twice basis in the 80s

I think it was a light gray against Cal in 1987.

I think you are correct. Before my time but I thought it looked cool in the picture I saw

Numbers outlined in light blue on both uniforms and Ernie in low cut light blue converse and Bernie in light blue high tops.

I didn't realize it'd be actually on the jersey. I remember the accents last year- they looked good.

I don't like the black shoes and socks look. Reminds me of Crazy Legs on "Don't be a Menace..." And Georgia.

Black shoes are OK if used sparingly, but with white socks.

Vols were about the first to wear white shoes. Good, clean, fast look.

First of all…I would bet that if that was a real announcement by someone in “the know” they would have called it by its true color which is “Summitt Blue”. Not baby blue.

I agree. The only change I would make to those is for the checkerboard on the sleeves to be orange and white.

Lose the checkerboards and trim the T and stripe on the helmet and those would be some pretty uniforms.

I am an Ol School Vol but I wish they would break out the Orange Helmets. Before anyone says it, the Orange helmets are not why we lost to SC last year. We lose on the road wearing white but we keep bringing the white back. JMHO
