Many would argue we've actually done ourselves a great favor. Just a few weeks ago we were being assured that "fans" have no real power.

No real power mean the decision making process is not in our hands. However, if fans grumble enough to make the coach and his family miserable, and some jack wagons have the gall to make harassing telephone calls to that coach's wife's business, start idiotic online petitions, and God only knows what else, they do have the power to do harm to the program.

We've done ourselves a great favor? Really? When I hear Tennessee has one of the largest and most passionate fan bases in the country, I have to ask myself a question. Is that always a compliment? Sometimes, in the case of those who would do the thing I listed above, we could use just a little bit less passion. And if that isn't possible, we could use a few less of those fans.
