She told me in the pregame interview that she wanted to give Zaida one more start at third since her shoulder is now fully healthy. With G behind the plate and Taylor in left, it was 2023 out there, save for Mealer instead of Ivy Davis.

I think Zaida is the best defensive third baseman that we’ve had since Raven. Hate that the shoulder kept her from playing there this year, but Boo has been great.

Me too. I love Katie since day one but she has not hit when she bats and its usually a SO! Defense and speed is her forte but other options are just as good!
