Tennessee Baseball Commitments 2024, 2025, 2026 and beyond

Love seeing it! Let's me know that the top players are high on Tennessee and that that other top players see that, too. Also knowing such players won't be wearing gosh awful college color like purple is comforting. There remains that chance he will suit up as a Vol and ends up as a member of team standing alone at the end of the year in Omaha until it doesn't.

Minnesota. Gilbert from there too.. wonder where the pipeline comes from or who tony knows up there. Just feel like that’s not really a powerhouse talent state
For years, before Vitello got the job, I always thought Tennessee should prioritize a) instate kids and b) kids in northern/cold weather states. There is plenty of talent all over the country in states that are cold when baseball season begins in February, March, and even April. It makes sense to identify them and pitch them on coming to the SEC to play in warm weather instead of freezing in Michigan, Minnesota, New England, etc. The fact that college baseball starts so early is an advantage for southern schools. Tennessee finally took advantage of it, instead of Serrano's bizarre strategy of chasing undersized California kids that the P12 schools didn't want.

Tony has done just that with guys like Gilbert (MN), Moore (NY), Dreiling (KS), and others.
