And the murder rate is pretty much the same as it was in the 1960s. This has nothing to do with liberals or a degradation in morality.

There is very little that can be done to improve the mental health of Americans, given the number of people without health insurance, given the crappy policies that do not cover mental health treatments, given the number of people who go through life with mental issues that are not diagnosed. But we could do something about guns.

If they even considered banning guns the bad guys would buy them and create a new black market industry. The criminals would still have access to guns against an unarmed nation. Not to mention the fact that very few people would turn in their guns if asked. So, get on with curing the mentally ill.

Until you clowns realize that the American people are being played on both sides and that they want us fighting with each other instead of uniting, then you clowns will still be chasing distractions like Islamic terrorists, flag burners/kneelers, Confederate flags, Russian hackers, illegal immigrants and lone gunmen.

I certainly would not give up any of my guns regardless of the reason. As the old saying goes.........I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
