The last team to win an NBA title that wasn’t a top 3 seed in their conference was the 1995 Rockets. When the league expand the playoffs to 16 teams only twice has a non top 3 seed from either conference made the Finals. JUST TWICE IN 35 YEARS!

The first two rounds of the NBA playoffs don’t matter. The MLB playoffs have every game matter.

Yet I’d rather watch the two worst nba teams in the league in a 7 game series. So, the hawks and the Knicks.
