IMO not just DR. Howard and Croom are injured too, so we're pretty thin at WR.

1 Senior
2 Juniors(Now) and 1 has never played a down of SEC football
1 soph.(with Dallas moving back)
4 freshmen(with two slowed by injuries) and non have played SEC football.

We've only got three WRs who've played in a real game.

Dallas is the most physical WR we've got in the run game. So it really will help us set the edge in the run game. He also isn't a bad athlete. Wish Chaney had schemed some ways last season to give him some screens or something to help him touch the ball more.

He's effective from the slot. Blocks well and has a good understanding of the base offense.

Our most physical WR in the run gm? Last yr...yes, he was on of the most physical. With the addition of Blanc, Bowles, Croom, and Patterson I do not believe that will be tyhe case this yr.

If we hold them to 6 points we'll hang 50 on them. We'll be playing the game on their side of the field all game.

I feel like we're going to run the ball as much as possible.

Vincent Dallas has been moved back to WR.

I hate when they do this to a player. I know we need him there, but the transition has to suck.

But he's better equipped for DB. He got passed by Jacob Carter in the spring at WR. It's not a major issue, I just don't see this as good and I'm the glass half full guy.

Credit where credit is due---Carter had a terrific spring.

Dallas was recruited as a WR. He has a better understanding of the base offense, is physical, and blocks well. That said, this move does not happen if it were not for DR's dismissal, Croom and Howards injuries.

Us "glass 1/2 full" folks have to stay together.

It's really nice to hear that we only have 3 freshman in the two deep across the board. Especially after having to play 17+ freshman the last two years in a row.


It's about time we had some quality depth across the board. Dooley has done a really good job of improving our roster since he's been here.

We seriously need to put a read-only lock on all old player threads in the recruiting forum. They are blowing up the recruiting forum and it is annoying. Any discussion about current players (after they report to school) should be held in the football forum to keep this one clean. This has only recently become an issue. It's kind of ridiculous to have 90% of the recent list filled up with non-sense that has nothing to do with recruiting or current targets.
