I think CP will catch a deep ball too. NC State will slip up and let him get behind them with Hunter punishing one side of the field.

After Hunter garners attention for a few catches CP will get behind the secondary. If that doesn't happen I would be surprised.

Yeah I think CP will be more of a problem as a vertical threat early on in the season.

SIAP, Todd McShay has his draft grades on ESPN. 3 Vols graded in the top 50 overall, Justin Hunter, Dallas Thomas, & Tyler Bray.

He had Da'Rick Rogers 87th in the top 100 I think.

He had Bray as the 6th best QB, 2nd best in the SEC behind Wilson.

I didn't know Thomas was rated so high.

Me either. Hope he actually goes that high. If all our guys come back for next year the '14 draft will be loaded with Vols. Quite a few very high picks as well I would think.

Worked this out in my head this morning, glad to see it happening in real life. We will need his experience and depth in the slot.

Dallas is the most physical WR we've got in the run game. So it really will help us set the edge in the run game. He also isn't a bad athlete. Wish Chaney had schemed some ways last season to give him some screens or something to help him touch the ball more.

But he's better equipped for DB. He got passed by Jacob Carter in the spring at WR. It's not a major issue, I just don't see this as good and I'm the glass half full guy.

IMO not just DR. Howard and Croom are injured too, so we're pretty thin at WR.
