Don't believe they do count them the same as SBs. At least not that I've heard of.

I said a lot, but I know when I was young, I remember a lot of sports writers would talk about old teams like the Browns and call them the Champions.

Before the AFL came along...it just wasn't called the "Super Bowl" so of course they weren't called "Super Bowl Champs" but they were still called the World Champions.

The Browns have obviously never been a Super Bowl champion, but the have been the World Champions of football several times is all I am saying and yes there are still a lot of old people that recognize those teams as World Champs just as much as any Super Bowl winner.
