Obviously. But he is just the typical bill of goods UT is used to selling to the masses.
I believe that while the Top Men under consideration may not be universal #1 choices, they would be pretty much universally acknowledged as great hires. We've all seen names other than Gruden or Kelly that we would be thrilled to see coaching on the Hill.

The question is, if Peyton and Currie put their heads together about the future of Tennessee Football, who would THEY have on the list? I think their Top Men would be names that most of us would say "well yeah, he would be great, but...". This time, petty obstacles that make us say "but" are not going to preclude a great hire.
The national media is not impacting this hire. And Les Miles is not a Top Man.
