You've got it totally wrong, Clinton had to clean up bush 1's mess and Obama has spent 8 year's cleaning up bush 2's disaster complicated by an obstructionist congress. :question:

First, read a history book or Wikipedia or something. This was not about the hostages in Iran, it was about hostages in Lebanon that were captured under the Reagan administration.

Second, you think arming Iran and Iraq was a good idea? I say again, we armed two hostile nations and you think that was smart?

Not saying you are totally wrong (no Bush fan here) but all Obama has done is pull the troops out in time of war. You call that 8 years of cleanup? Look around, the entire mideast is in flames, forced migrations are overrunning Europe and threats against the US are everywhere. This will domino into a much larger problem very soon. Obama is just watching, playing the fiddle, as the world burns around him.

Protecting his "legacy", instead of making difficult decisions that could possibly paint him in a bad light in his party's eyes. The hardest decisions are usually the correct ones.

This is just the latest in details about the deal that are leaking out that doesn't jibe with the official WH story. Clearly there are details here that indicate at a minimum the WH didn't want the public to know about this. The question then becomes why?

Why was the transaction made in cash by plane and in foreign currency? They can't make a wire transfer anymore? This is corruption at its finest. Especially spinning it as a normal transaction.

What details came out that contradict the administration claim? Seriously asking as I've not seen any.
