I'll be honest. All the hype we're getting makes me a little nervous. I guess I'm probably gunshy at this point. I've been hurt too much.
He needs subtitles like Mayweather needs pronunciation cards.
I started watching this from the beginning on Netflix not too long ago, but got busy and kinda dropped it. I enjoyed it, though, and may have to get back into it. How many seasons are there? Any idea?
Wow, how did you manage to become a Lions fan? Just curious. I think ZJC on here is the only other Lions fan that I know.
LMAO, I saw a video on Facebook...some dude asked Floyd about the magnitude of his last fight, and he said "I think the magnitude..."Haha http://youtu.be/7vskxj22-1c fast forward to 2:11.
Makes sense.My parents.
Dad's from Michigan, and my Mom (From TN) lived there before TN had a pro team, so I've grown up watching them.
It's odd, for collegiate athletics, I'm a TN Fan; I suppose it's because I always watched the Vols at my Grandmas as a kid. And for professional sports it's all Detroit teams.
No, it's not too bad. I know how intimadating it is to try and catch up on a show with like 6 seasons is though lol. Most times I'm just like, do I really want to put that much time in?
My problem is I get addicted and have to watch as many episodes as I possibly can. But if I go too long between episodes, I lose interest.
I just checked Netflix and I made it to season one, episode 15.
Makes sense.
My dad used to like watching the Pistons during the "Bad Boys" era. Me, not so much.
I don't remember the Bad Boys, considering I'm only 19. But the 2004 Championship team was a lot of fun to watch. Same thing with practically any Red Wings teams. The Lions got pretty fun when Schwartz arrived, but he got old quickly.
We have like 4 or 5 primetime games this year. I don't know how to contain the excitement. I mean, seriously, it seems like yesterday reporters were talking about how we could win our first road game in 26 games.
Still waiting on the Superbowl appearance.
I'm not familiar with either of those but River Monsters sounds like something my wife would enjoy watching.
19? Wow, you've got your whole sports fan life ahead of you.
Looks like the Lions are 20:1 to make it to the Super Bowl this year. NFL Futures - Pro Football Future Sportsbook Odds at VegasInsider.com
Yes, I do. I like all my teams, but I just really want to see the Vols succeed the most. Maybe because I've seen them in person the most, or because I like college sports more.
I mean, really, I want all my teams to succeed, but there's just something about Good Ole' Rocky Top.
Falling Skies is a TNT show, it's basically humans using guerrilla warfare to fight an alien invasion and reestablish order on earth. I enjoy it, but it does get a little repetitive.
River Monsters is the ultimate fishing show lol. This guy goes all over the world, where he hears of local legends of man eating fish or something that has killed somebody and tries to catch it. He's caught some mammoth fish, along with some pretty gruesome looking stuff.
Both of those sound interesting. For some reason your description of River Monsters made me think of Shelby the "Swamp Man" from Ax Men. I have no idea why. Are you familiar with him? Guy's crazy.
Well being that you were only 2 in 98, I know you don't remember what it felt like....but those times are hopefully on the horizon again.
